Welcome to the website of the CER’s Annual Internet Entrepreneurs Prize which rewards excellence and innovation in digital and web based ventures. If you have an App which is going to take the world by storm, a website which is going to heal the planet or a digital enterprise which you think could truly help to improve lives, then you could be in with a chance of winning the €26,000 cash prize or one of the two €18,000 runner-up prizes. We don’t measure success by looking at your profit margins but by the amount of good you’re doing in the world.  

        The winner and runners up, will all be invited, at no cost to themselves, to the gala presentation evening, held in a different European Capital each year where parliamentarians, local dignitaries and members of the CER will be waiting to greet them.

 

Why the CER?

 

        The Conference of European Rabbis is the foremost Rabbinical alliance in Europe and unites religious leaders from across the continent. Religion in the public sphere is often thought of as being little more than an archaic and backward looking lifestyle. In fact nothing could be further from the truth and the CER wants to reward those who have used the tools of a new generation in the best possible way, in accordance with the Jewish principle of ‘Tikkun Olam’ – repairing the world.
